I feel like throwing up..昨晚三點多睡, 今天七點多就起來了
肚子空空衝到郵局,發現國際快捷也要四五天,
那我的Deadline又要來不及
趕緊抽回來不寄了 還好小姐很好
我走去 seven, 記得他們有國際快遞 還好
花了615 元 用DHL快遞去...本來不用花那麼多, 都是拖延的後果..
後來還是回到郵局 把兩封沒那麼趕的寄去了 兩封加起來 133元
我一邊弄一邊喝每日C的葡萄汁, 早上唯一進肚子的食物...
走回來的路上很想吐...
不過總算完成幾件事....

一直想要 讓表面似乎什麼都沒發生
可是 還是沒辦法隱忍
即使心裡有很多事 還是要堅持
還是要把該做的事做完

Tristan and Isolde
Tristan and Isolde
Tristan and Isolde is an ancient Celtic legend. There were many versions of the story, including one told in French by Poet Thomas of Britain in the 12th century, from which the famous Wagner Trist and and Isolde was also based. Although the origin of the story was not known, it was often retold as a courtly romance in Middle Ages and a precursor to the Lancelot and Guinevere story.
Before seeing this movie, I have no idea what it is about, apart from " a love story before Romeo and Juliet", according to the promotion poster. It is from that angle I prepared to receive this film. However after seeing it I felt it is not like any Romeo and Juliet movie I have ever seen, not even any of the Lancelot and Guinevere's. This may be due to the excellent story telling techniques and a wonderful screen play that makes it such a heart-felt romance not typical hollywood. This version and setting chosen is also one in the Dark Age, when England was torn by internal warfare among tribes and about to be prayed on by the Irish. Tristan's father was a promising chief preparing to unite English tribes only to be killed shortly before the plan was carried out. Losting both parents, Tristan was brought home by Marke, another young ambitious chief from south of England and was raised like his own son. Growing a fearless warrior, Tristan was the bravest among his peers and a favoured successor to Marke. During one glorious fight against one Irish invasion, Tristan was wounded and thought to be killed, and was held a sea funeral to mark his bravery. But fate brought his flowing grave to the Irish coast and he was saved by the beautiful Irish princess Isolde who put him secretly in a hut on the beach to help him. The two soon fell madly in love but were forced to seperate when the messengers from the invasion brought back the news of defeat. Remembering Isolde's false identity as a maid to the Irish princess, Tristan volunteered to represent his king for a tournement, one which the Irish schemed to weaken the English unity - the Irish princess was the prize. Tristan fought hard for his master, and also for himself. Yet when he won he found out he was to win his only love for the person he respected the most. The torn feelings between two persons he loves the most in the world became the very theme for the latter part of the movie, and fortells a tragic ending.
It is hard to believe the story was the result of a low budget project in the Hollywood standard, according to the producers in the commentary. James Franco's playing of Tristan is certainly complementary to its success. He made this character came to life, one that fought hard internally by the duty and burnt by jealousy. The look on his face, after risking his life to win the tournament only to find out the prize he will present to his king was his only love. was heartbreaking. Since then that dark shade among his eyebrow never left his forehead till the end of the movie. I rented his other movies after "T&I" just to find out more about this talented actor. Anyway, this movie is worth seeing and can definitely satisfy the romance- seeking souls.

New thoughts...

When I was younger, about 15 or 16 years old, I made friends with people who I think were cool. I talked the way they did, and pretended to be interested in the same things they were interested in, even though deep down I did not like them as much. Then when I started to have thinkings for myself, I went out with people who I didn't regard as friends. I never invited people to go out with me, even though I went out almost everytime if someone asked me. THe reason for that was: I seriously didn't really enjoy their company, not very interested in what they talked about no matter how hard I tried to feel comfortable. I never really invited people to do things with me because, compared with having to invent topics or sitting at some place I didn't like for a long time, I'd rather just go places on my own and do whatever I want.
But recently I noticed some changes in me. I found going out with 'friends'- I mean, to after treating the 'people I know' to 'friends'- is not a bad idea after all. Everyone has his or her own strength. I would know whom to find when I feel like going to a concert. I know whom to look for if I desperately want to talk about a new book. There are certain girls who can't go home later than 10 pm, and they are naturally not my companions on a club night out. I start to reach out my hands because, I observed, I have developed to be more confident about myself. I know what I want exactly so I am free to walk away when I don't feel like to stay. That makes going out with people not a serious burden on me as it was before. Because, honestly, no one can really live without friends. During the time I chose 'not to have friends' and kept everyone as 'someone I knew', I still spent a lot of time ONLINE hoping to find people who might have the same tastes as I do. But this pursuit turned out to be in vain. I mean, how successful would I be, to disregard people whom I can see and feel and touch in real life, and bet my hope finding a soulmate in a pool of "ID names"?
Anyway, I am very happy to open up and make two new friends today. (Both had been classified as 'someone I knew' for 3 years.)

what do i want?
很晚了還不想睡...
不愛看電視的我 竟然迷起了日劇
日劇迷人的一點 在於它們試著傳達的真實
似乎每一個人 都能在其中的角色 找到一部份的自己
而東方人 時常是以家人或團體為重的文化
常常迷失在 我是誰? 我到底想做的是什麼? 的疑問當中
現在看的兩部片 大和拜金女 及 愛情慢舞
雖然兩片相差至少有五年吧!
但談的主旨仍然是 我要的是什麼? 人生當中什麼是重要的? 問題
可見 堅持做自己想作的事 雖然越來越多的東方人 有這樣的想法
卻仍然迫於輿論與現實 而少有人會去實現吧!?
或者是給自己的理由?
(其實我知道自己想作什麼 只是因為那樣看不到未來 所以停留在一個 不想停留 卻可以預見未來的一個點)

今年的溫布頓網賽, 男單決賽是由瑞士的Federer played against Nadal from Spain
而woman single final 是Mauresmo from France played against Harddine from Belgium
有幸今年在學網球的夏天, 看到了這兩場高手對決...
以前從不看溫布頓的我卻可以沉迷其中.
看到了這幾位選手高超的意志力與決心...
長達兩個小時的比賽 技巧與實力已不在話下
但還有求勝的決心 策略的運用 以及心情的調適
不同於一般觀球的吵雜 溫布頓的觀眾在比賽時鴉雀無聲
完全尊重球員及比賽
而面臨這種壓力還要力求表現
讓我見識到了這些球員超乎常人的一面...
而他們卻都相當年輕...最年輕的Nadal 二十歲 最長的Mauresmo也不過二十七
Federer 才二十四已拿下四次溫布頓冠軍
網球比賽之後的握手 讓我想到了孔子 "揖讓而升 下而飲 其爭也君子" 的境界
竟然在這幾個外國人身上看到
而他們對對手的尊重也不是表面工夫
在接受BBC的訪問時 Nadal 操著厚重的西班亞口音 Harddine 法語口音
都稱讚對手有完美的表現
而Maurresmo的法語口音並不明顯 Federer原先應該是說德語的 不過英文因為國際化的關係
也有了美語的影響
都期望自己有更好的表現
以我看來 真的不知道要經過多少的努力才能達到這種境界
更難的是 要維持在頂點...
要是我 能做到一次 就覺得自己很了不起了
讓我想到 台灣從小接受的教育 除了基礎數學還不錯以外
和別的國家的小孩比起來有多了什麼?
運動一向是被忽略的一環
而成績的輸贏很重要
基本功的訓練常被忽視 反而是如何能夠譁眾取寵比較能夠出人頭地
那我們什麼時候能訓練出一個能打進溫布頓的網球選手呢?
回來看自己 我給自己的目標又是什麼 而我又做了什麼努力呢?
