The Personnel informed me on Monday to express his concern for my going to France. "You teach English, not French."
Father expressed the same worry. Although today I have persuaded the Principal and the Personnel to agree, on condition that they can wait only till next Friday, the day for the staffing list for next semester to be announced. Daddy said, in a final tone, "if you really want to study abroad, go to Hawaii." I can argue with the Principal and the Personnel, but I can't with my dad.
Meanwhile, the processing of the French visa works like snail. The school to which I applied has sent the pre-inscription forms out to me but I don't know when they are going to arrive. Without them I can't complete the Personnel study-leave application.
Everything seems still so uncertain.
